The graphics do a great job of grabbing attention in this 1942 ad for Pepto Bismol. The copy follows through with good reasons not to be without it. Incidentally, I'm pretty sure my mother owns stock... she prescribed Pepto for everything from headaches to swollen feet! ;)
This little 1926 ad for Barbasol shave cream worked for two reasons. The headline is the grabber here. And the coupon not only brought more responses, it made the ad completely trackable. Note the "Modern way" to shave!
